Everyone's experience with perimenopause and menopause is unique, but many of my clients start noticing positive changes — like improved sleep, feeling more confident or better energy within a few weeks or months of making targeted nutrition and lifestyle changes. Yes! If your GP provides a Chronic Disease Management Plan (also known as a care plan or CDM)  you may be eligible for Medicare rebates for up to 5 dietitian appointments per year. These typically rebate around $60 per session.
I also accept private health insurance claims - most major Australian health funds provide cover for dietitian consults. The amount you can claim will depend on your level of extras cover, so it’s best to check with your provider.
If you’re not sure whether you qualify or how to claim, I’m happy to guide you through the process.
